What an amazing two days of events our club
had surrounding the recent U of L Men's
Basketball Team's apperance at the Hall of Fame
Showcase!
Monday, November 16, we held a "Networking
with the Legends" celebration at Luciano's in
Clayton. 120 of you gathered around Denny
Crum and Darrell Griffith, talking about the
University of Louisville, our club, and, or
course, BASKETBALL! Autographs were
signed, photos were taken, and laughter shared
as we kicked off the start of the basketball
season.
Tuesday evening, we all rallied together again at
the Scottrade Center to watch our team pummel
the Arkansos Hogs, 96-66. Coach Pitino gave all
of the U of L fans a preview of what we can
expect this season: quick moves, fancy
footwork, and lots of swished nets! Darrell
joined our club again that evening in the Blue
Note lounge as our members proudly displayed
our official club t-shirts and bellowed
"C-A-R-D-S!" into the walkways of the Center.
